Dan Shiffman teaches English at United World College ISAK Japan.. He previously taught in the U.S. Uzbekistan and Germany. Dan has published two books, most recently College Bound: The Pursuit of Education in Jewish American Literature (SUNY Press). His creative work has appeared in such places as Hobart, X-ray Literary Magazine, and New World Writing.
